Anthony (Tony) Neske
Senior Vice President, Transaction Management
Mr. Neske is SVP for Transaction Management and has been with Clayton since 2016. With nearly two decades in the mortgage industry, he brings restructuring, process improvement and data analytics experience to the organization, focusing on strategic and operational efficiencies.
Mr. Neske’s primary responsibility is operational leadership and management oversight of all loan file review services and variable workforce labor solutions.
Before joining Clayton, Mr. Neske was Chief Operating Officer at American Mortgage Consultants. He also served as Managing Director of Operations and Global Services for Opus CMC and Director of Transaction Operations and Off-Shore Services at LPS Capital Markets, overseeing comprehensive operational responsibilities for various forensic, transactional and securitization reviews.
Mr. Neske is a veteran of the United States Navy Submarine Service and graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in International Business and Finance.

Susan Connally
Vice President, Servicing Oversight Operations
Ms. Connally has been in the mortgage industry for more than 14 years and currently serves as VP of Clayton’s Servicing Oversight group. She oversees the day-to-day management of teams monitoring RMBS transactions, conducting servicing and sub-servicing quality reviews, and completing reconciliation of servicer-prepared claims.
Ms. Connally has managed file reviews for large and small servicers and investors, focusing on everything from loss mitigation and servicing transfers to compliance with GSE, CFPB and National Mortgage Settlement standards. Additionally, she has experience managing engagements for targeted claim reviews. These include VA, FHA, and investor claim review and reconciliation projects in addition to FNMA and FHLMC compensatory fee review rebuttal preparation. Ms. Connally most recently implemented testing procedures to confirm compliance with consent judgments, which require servicers to provide borrower assistance to consumers through modifications.
Ms. Connally received a B.A. in History from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont.

Nathan Collins
Managing Director, Commercial Services Division
Mr. Collins has nearly 25 years of experience in the commercial mortgage finance and real estate servicing industries. In his current role as Managing Director at Clayton, he leads the Commercial Services division managing Underwriting & Due Diligence, and Insurance Compliance and Servicing Support, which includes oversight of the company’s offshore platform.
Previously he served as Managing Director of Commercial Services at Covius Real Estate Services and Director of Insurance Services at its predecessor, RR Donnelley (RRD). While at RRD, Mr. Collins played an integral role in building RRD’s Global Business Process Outsourcing division. Before that, he served as Senior Analyst at GMAC Commercial Mortgage (Capmark Finance), where he gained expertise in various servicing functions including cash management, reserves processing, insurance compliance, escrow analysis, property inspections and UCC monitoring.
Mr. Collins holds a B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed post-baccalaureate studies at Howard University in Washington, DC.

Dustin Wallace
Managing Director, Residential Assets Division
Mr. Wallace currently serves as Managing Director at Clayton. He has held various roles within Clayton and Covius, its parent company, since 2006. Mr. Wallace started with the company as an underwriter of residential mortgage loans and has more than 16 years of underwriting experience and more than a decade of Servicing Surveillance and Securitization experience. His current responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the multiple-agency, non-QM, condo and HOA due diligence teams and ensuring quality, productivity and profitability goals are maintained.
Mr. Wallace received a B.A. in Finance from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.

Trey Beal
Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Beal currently serves as VP of Business Development at Clayton. He has a long history in the financial services industry, including banking, credit analysis, asset management, mortgage underwriting and capital markets.
Mr. Beal originally joined the Clayton team in 2002 as a Senior Project Lead. In 2009, he became Director of Deal Logistics, and in 2010, he began providing additional support as the Director of Key Client Initiatives. Mr. Beal advanced to VP of Client Service Management in 2012, VP of Transaction Management in 2016, and then to his current role as VP of Business Development in 2020. Today, he helps manage all of Clayton's business development endeavors.
Mr. Beal served five years in the United States Marine Corp and attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

Pete Thomas
National Director of Sales
Mr. Thomas serves as National Director of Sales. He leverages his experience as a mortgage professional with extensive expertise in capital markets, product development, credit and asset sales, contract administration, business development and strategic planning. Previously Mr. Thomas served as a consultant for capital markets to Spring EQ Mortgage in 2017, and in 2014 as Senior Vice President of capital markets for the Freedom Mortgage Corporation. He has also worked for notable CoreLogic, Inc., Duncan-Williams, Inc., Citi Mortgage, Inc., the PHH Mortgage Corporation, the Fieldstone Mortgage Company and Bear Stearns Companies, Inc.
Mr. Thomas received an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, New York and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Dan Pinero
Director of Operations
Mr. Pinero currently serves as Director of Operations for Clayton. Mr. Pinero originally joined the Clayton team in 2004. His current responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations for the internal due diligence underwriting teams, where he supports nearly 200 underwriters to achieve department quality, delivery, and productivity and profit goals. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Pinero possesses a varied background including processing, closing, underwriting, regulatory compliance, training, client service management, loss mitigation oversight and operational oversight of underwriting services.
Mr. Pinero attended Mission Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida.

Dave Musser
Director of Operations
Mr. Musser currently serves as Director of Operations at Clayton. Since joining the Clayton team in 2006, Mr. Musser has managed teams completing underwriting, compliance and servicing file reviews. Mr. Musser brings extensive experience to the Clayton leadership team by developing long-term operational strategies, managing resources and evaluating organizational efficiency to drive productivity.
Mr. Musser received a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.

Joe Ozment
Director of Securitization
Mr. Ozment serves as Director of Securitization in Clayton’s Transaction Management business. He has been affiliated with Clayton since 2011. With more than 22 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Ozment possesses varied backgrounds including transaction management, client services, underwriting, regulatory compliance and operations. Mr. Ozment’s current responsibilities include oversight of the securitization underwriters, where he works closely with the Client Service Management teams to deliver high-quality loan decisions to clients. Before joining Clayton, Mr. Ozment worked at Lender Processing Services as Director of Client Services and as a Senior Transaction Manager at Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Ozment received a B.S. in Social Sciences from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
