Clayton’s Real Estate Services group (formerly Covius Real Estate Services) has provided data capture/validation and analytical services on more than one million commercial real estate assets throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia and Latin America. These deals represent more than $550 billion and involve some of the largest private CMBS issuances. Our underwriting and due diligence services support CMBS issuance and CRE portfolio and loan pool acquisitions. They can include loan sizing, CMBS/Agency underwriting, portfolio underwriting, B-Piece re-underwriting and seasoned loan pool acquisition and disposition re-underwriting.

We can interpret and capture loan and property level data from required documents provided by the client, input data in the system of client preference from our Convergence Data Management (CDM) system or Excel and deliver data tape identifying any outstanding Exceptions. Our team can also complete asset summary reports (ASRs) and create underwriting narratives with a discussion of the loan transaction and an overview of the property, borrower, market, third-party reports, transaction strengths and weaknesses, maps, photos and charts.

Our servicing portfolio support includes operating statement and rent roll normalization (OSARs), broker price opinions (BPOs), tax reconciliations, transfers and assumptions, loan modifications, loan file reviews, property inspections and commercial valuations. Clayton also provides a variety of loan data capture and reporting services, as well as representations and warrant clearing, loan pool data stratifications, lease abstractions and document management and reporting.
